
Easy appetizer dip that is great for any time of the year. I don't remember where I found this recipe or if it was given to me.
Ricotta Pepperoni Dip
2 1/2 dozen pizza sticks and 2 cups dip
Ingredients:
Pizza Sticks:
1 tube (10 ozs.) refrigerated pizza crust
1 tblsp. olive or vegetable oil
2 tblsps. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tblsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
Dip:
1 cup (8 ozs.) sour cream
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 tblsp. savory herb with garlic soup mix
1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
1 cup (4 ozs.) shredded mozarella cheese
1 tblsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza crust to a 12-in.X 8-in. rectangle; brush with oil.
2. Combine the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and pepper; sprinkle over dough.
3. Cut into 3-inch X 1-inch strips; place on a greased baking sheet.
4. Bake at 425 degrees for 6-9 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Meanwhile, combine the sour cream, ricotta cheese, soup mix, and pepperoni in a saucepan; heat through.
6. Stir in the mozarella and Parmesan cheese just until melted.
7. Serve warm with pizza sticks.
