Recipe For Roast Beef with Gravy

This is my favorite recipe for making roast beef. It is so easy to prepare in the slow cooker and great with mashed potatoes.

Roast Beef with Gravy
12 servings

Ingredients:
1 boneless beef sirloin tip roast (about 4 pounds)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, divided
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 envelope brown gravy mix
2 cups cold water

Directions:
1. Cut roast in half; rub with 1/4 cup flour.
2. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker.
3. In a bowl, combine the soup and gravy mixes and remaining flour, stir in water until blended.
4. Pour over roast.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat in tender.
6. Slice roast; serve alone or with mashed potatoes and gravy.
